In the 3rd quarter of 2013, Sinoma Int. (Tianjin) entered into EPC contract with United Cement Company of Nigeria Ltd. at Holcim headquarters in Zurich for Unicem Mfamosing 2nd 6,250 t/d project.

Mfamosing 2nd line project is jointly invested by Lafarge, Holcim and Flourmeal, a local company. This is a Greenfield project located in Calabar, Nigeria. The scope of work covers engineering design, equipment supply, construction, commissioning and other EPC works for the whole production line.

With the contract price of 276,900,000 USD, it is the largest project contracted by Sinoma Int. (Tianjin) in West Africa. The contract signature for the project demonstrates that our competitiveness in contracting large cement project in Nigeria and even West Africa is strengthening. Lafarge and Holcim’s joint selection of Sinoma Int. shows the trust placed in us by our long-term customers, which is quite meaningful for us to reach out to new partners.
